Job Description

FairMoney is a digital bank for emerging markets. We are offering instant microloans and other financial services via the smartphone application FairMoney. With a technical team in Paris and a set up of top notch investors (€4 million funding), our mission is to revolutionize access to financial services in the emerging world.

FairMoney is recruiting a Product Manager to build a digital bank.
The responsibility is to oversee the creation of a digital bank, and facilitates its internationalization from a product point of view together with the startup co-founder in charge of product.


  • You are the data person, monitor product performance, issues and find solutions
  • You will prepare from A-Z tech sprints: product specifications, feature implementation kickoffs, monitoring and advice, performance review
  • Work with a designer (or by yourself) to build a great UX for our customers across markets
  • Develop internal product knowledge and business intelligence
  • Iterate on CRM (Salesforce) and customer support software to gather product feedback or improve operations
  • Run manual tests on new financial features (savings accounts, accounts, insurance, …) to define customer needs before gathering product requirements
  • You will work across different departments, including operations, data, tech, and marketing. If you perform well, you will get real autonomy/ownership

Preferred Experience


  • You have a solid track record of achievement (academic, professional, and/or sport)
  • You have 3 years of experience in a fast-growing tech startup company
  • You have studied business administration, economics or engineering at a top tier university.
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and commitment to get hands dirty at all times.
  • You are a problem solver with a data-driven and KPI-oriented approach to maximize the efficiency of all the operations, using such tools as SQL, Python and Excel
  • Willing to spend some time in markets (West Africa, South-East Asia) to test our product & understand clients
  • Curious, hungry and motivated to work in a highly dynamic environment.
  • In love with FairMoney mission to enhance access to finance for the underbanked
  • Fluent in English/French any other language (Spanish, Arabic, Portuguese) is a plus
